I can't seem to get the 6 pin to still work. I took the ribbon apart and put it back together. I can't get any power to press through the ribbon. Why isn't power going through it? |

I'm afraid that I don't know what the problem with your cable is. There are many ways to work through it, but ultimately it comes down to finding out where your bad connection is. Taking apart and reconnecting the ribbon cable ends is usually not a good idea-- it's challenging enough to get them the first time. Try testing your cable by itself-- without the rest of the programmer there-- to see if each wire hooks up how it's supposed to. Windell H.
