Actually, there are analog inputs. The issue is that you would have to figure out some external circuitry to reshape the sound into a slowly changing form that you wanted to see visualized. Most talking and loud bar noise aren't going to look very good if you can see them-- you might have to get creative with the external electronics. Windell H.
