I was attempting to register and when I hit "Register Now!" the browser was directed to a white page that said:

An SQL error has occurred. Please see error.log for details.

I'm pretty sure that the problem was caused by the extra long user name that I was trying to use: mondaytuesdaywednesdaythursdayfridaysaturdaysunday.

I never received the confirmation email that the account was created. However, When I entered my email address on the "lost your password" page I received an email:

Someone (possibly you) has requested a new password for your account "mondaytuesdaywed" on Evil Mad Scientist Laboratories

Note that the username is truncated to 16 characters. I was able to reset the password using the link in the email but when I tried logging I received the SQL error page again. Out of curiosity I tried logging in with the long name above an the system gave me the "mistyped your login credentials" message.

It looks like there are some datatype enforcement issues.

I'm ok with the username for this account instead of the one I originally picked, but I'd like to change my email address to use the one associated with the broken account. This probably won't work until the other account is nuked.
