 One "string" of LEDs stays on constently

One thing that came up on a board I just finished - one group of LEDs stayed on all the time. After much joint checking etc I was stumped.

In the end I noticed there were 6 LEDS - I'd missed a jumper! I replaced one at random with a jumper, and it was all fine.
