I'm having some problems with my green ring and would like some help.
I've downloaded the schematics but I'm a noob and I can't figure it out. Also my green ring is attached and I can't easily read where the lines in the schematic relate to the PCB. (Note to self, take a high res pic of each PCB before you start)
While manually advancing the green ring to test, I have a weird problem.

The LED in image 1 works fine.
I advance (image 2) and next LED in line does not light but 4 other green LEDs are dimly lit and 4 blue LED are dimly lit.
Advance again (image 3) and two LED's are on. the one that should be lit and the previous one.
Last advance (image 4) and the correct LED is working.
thanks for any advice you can give.

It looks like you have a backwards LED. There is a flatted side on the clear plastic "collar" of each LED, corresponding to the side with the short lead, and which should be pointing towards the rounded (not squared) solder pad.

It's works after flipping the LED. Thanks a bunch. (and thank you for giving an extra LED of each color with the kit.)
On to focusing green and soldering red. Thanks again!
