 short circuited my boards

I touched the connector pins of one of the two interactive led boards plugged in. It instantly failed and would not light up again. Can this be easily repaired. I already oderd two more but would love to have the two first ones to play around.,

It's not immediately obvious what might have broken, but the usual suspect in cases of power accidents are the onboard op-amp chips.

I'd suggest the following procedure:
- Work one board at a time, and use the one with the chip and switch first.
- Unplug the board.
- CAREFULLY remove all four chips from the board. Set them aside and mark them, e.g., with a pencil, so that you know which ones they are.
- Put a spare or otherwise known working chip in quadrant 1 (only) of the affected panel.
- Turn the board on, see if quadrant 1 works.
- If so, put three more known working chips in the other quadrants.
- If not, please say so, and we'll go to the next steps.

My boards are safe. When I started working on it again, everything whent on perfectly.
