Hey Guys,

i have a piece of lab equipment where one of the LEDs went out. I took off the control panel and found a soldered LED block on the board. I'm hoping I can replace it but I can't tell if it's standard (the machine was manufactured, or repaired, in 1996).

So, the part info is:

Sharlight CM1-8025 G

Looks pretty old, google turned up a spec sheet and a company with chinese writing. Also, it is about 2.8 cm x 2.0 cm, which is about 1 and 1/16ths of an inch. I thought 1 inch was standard?

Any clue if I can replace this???

I looked around and couldn't find a pin-out, just the general stats. You might want to check one of the good ones to see what pins are what, before assuming anything. Then you can shop around for replacements.

The "standard sizes" are measuring the number's size, not the size of the plastic case... So a 1" display would actually be taller, so the 1" digit would fit. And not all 1" displays are in the same sized plastic, some have quite a large border around them.
