Let me preface this by saying I have no idea what I am doing, so forgive me if it sounds like I don't know what I am talking about, I don't.

I am looking for some kind of motor, or motors to move a scissor lift type device, capable of lifting at most 200 lbs. I am hoping to contain the motor, scissors and a rechargable battery in a chair bottom no thicker than an inch. I am ok with something low gear that may be slow.

Anyway, I haven't done a whole lot of looking yet, I will do that now. I figured I would get a feel for if anyone had a good idea for what I am looking for, to save me a bit of time.
