 Meggy Jr stop working...

There is not a guide for this sort of thing; I've never seen anything like it happen before. There are a number of things that you can try to help see what the problem is.

First, I'd suggest trying to program the Meggy with some serial routines and communicating with it-- like the serial examples in the Meggy Jr library, or other Arduino serial examples. If you can communicate with it in one of these programs, that would indicate that the proper program is running and that the chip is responsive.

Ok I tested te serial example in the Meggy Jr, sketch upload ok, but on the Serial Port monitor, see strange words, I take a video I hope can upload to flicker and you can seeit its not the best quality but you can see general MeggyJr symptoms.

I can't from your flickr videos tell what you're trying to do. I can't make out what's on your screen.

I do see that you have a USBtinyISP. You might try to use this to reflash the bootloader on the Meggy Jr and then to upload the main "attack" sketch again to see what it does.

Could you give me a little more extensive explanation about the process? Where to download files?, commands to use or some link to get more information.

Thanks.

You mean for burning the bootloader? Just hook up the USBtiny, and in the Arduino program, select "Burn bootloader > w/ usbtinyisp" from the menu

Same board selection as for the Meggy.

OK, I tryed 3 times:

First Time

USB read error: expected 128, got 112
USB read error: expected 128, got 112
USB read error: expected 128, got 112
USB read error: expected 128, got 112

Second Time
USB read error: expected 128, got 112

Third
Done burning bootloader

Again, Scketches upload ok, but see this difference:

Depending on what sketch upload its the pattern, some times vary in the same sketch.

So...I think need to seend you back to check, course if there its no problem, let me check shipping time and cost maybe its more cheap to order other Meggy than send back-forward to "repair" but I think I can send you for "forensic" work.

I will keep contact.

Okay, good: so you've reflashed the bootloader, and are uploading sketches again.

Now: Is the buzzer still malfunctioning? And, what are you seeing on the LED display now?

Yea reflashed, but with the errors, I donk now if they are normal, after uploding sketch still have the buzzer with loud sound, and strange patterns in the screen but now they are different depending on scketch uploaded.

The consistent buzzing is very bothersome, since that's a symptom that we've never seen before and it's not clear how that could happen. It is possible that certain solder bridges-- accidental connections between points on the board --could cause this. If, for example, one of the transistors responsible for controlling the rows of the display were also connected to the speaker. You should check your board *very* carefully for solder bridges, accidental bits of wire, clipped leads, or dry solder dust.

I would definitely expect you to find strange patterns depending on the sketch that's uploaded.

Please try the sketch "MeggyJr_Blink" and let me know what you see. This sketch should produce a single, slowly blinking yellow dot.
