It sounds like that the chip was flashed with the "blink" example program. It's not normally our policy to preload that, but it's possible that someone could have loaded "blink" to test the chip and make sure that the Arduino software was properly installed, and forgotten to wipe it when they were done. Interesting - my Diavolino arrived "pre-programmed" with the blink sketch too. I hoped it was a standard feature - maybe my AVR is "second hand" too! |
