Just curious about lead time on orders for an Eggbot. I really don't see much detailing what the lead time might be, so feel it a fair question.

I'm going to guess 6-8 weeks, in that case.

I am signed up on the list, but curiosity prompts me to ask again if we are getting close to having more units in stock? My kid's have a great desire to play with this, and I must admit, the thought inspires the kid in me too. Since signing up and waiting for this kit to be restocked, I have managed to cobble together a simple rockcliff design CNC mill and that's been great fun... But my daughter is asking nearly daily when we will get an Egg-Bot, so I figure I might just ask again...

Funny how that works, eh?

Not only is the time WAY off, but as well, I got a nice email last week telling me 'Monday or Tuesday!', which of course has proven to be incorrect as well. I suppose there is no hope but to just sit tight and wait for that blessed email that says 'Go Order NOW!' And hope that they are metered out based on availability, so when I get to respond I am not told they are already sold out

Suppose I will just sit back and wait....

Any news though?

Oops... Must parse email fully before replying... Says Wed or Thurs, not Mon or Tues... Sit tight dear sir and just wait till the email....

Hi Anjin,
Yes, we had originally planned to release this batch at the end of November, but we decided to push it back by a couple of days to avoid the Thanksgiving rush. Other than that we are still on the original schedule. If you were on the waiting list to receive that message last week (and you haven't removed yourself), you'll definitely be getting a purchase link from us on Wednesday or Thursday.

I received the email that said it is time to order and I did place my order. My new whining is "How long will I have to wait to get the kit in my hands?" The confirmation said the order would ship in 1 to 2 weeks, but I am impatient.

I did appreciate that the ordering was opened to the people on the waiting list before it was opened to the general public.

The kits start shipping next week. There are a lot of kits to ship, and it will take time to ship them all.

Thanks for the update; I will wait semi-patiently. Of course, the next whine will be, "What's taking the UPS (or FedEx or USPS) driver so long to get it to me."

I am glad that you have lots of kits to ship. It would stink for you to build up a bunch of kits that sit on your shelf forever.
