Hi all,

I posted a restructured version of the Larson Scanner code with some alternate LED displays. It is still a work in progress to generate fun ideas for what can be displayed using the Larson Scanner board. The code now uses a timer interrupt to do PWM for the LEDs for different brightness levels. I'm also adding more fine-grained timing adjustment. For now, program the code using the included makefile and press the button to toggle through the different displays.

If you have any ideas that you would like to see, be sure to reply or make changes. Grab the code here:

Doesn't the original code already use PWM for this?

In any case, sounds cool!

What about a video of the demo? Smile

Apologies for not checking back on the forum. The timer interrupt driving the PWM is new / different. I felt that it allowed more granularity in brightness and it was easier to understand for me this way. The original code does vary the pulse widths, but handles everything in the main loop.

No video yet. I was hoping to do something cooler first. Wink
