We are working on a project for our Senior Design class. We are making a News Delivery Screen and have been using one Peggy2 as a starting point to test out our programs. We need to make the screen much larger, roughly 2' x 3' as called for by our assignment. The board also needs to have a photo-diode attached to it to change the brightness of the LEDs based on surrounding illumination. We've been debating purchasing more Peggy2 boards, but have some questions before we would do so. |

1) As squall_line said, 3 wide is easy. You can, in principle, put three more side by side but upside down to make the 2x3 display. To do this without a gap, you'd need to trim down the circuit board. The circuit board is actually designed to allow this-- there are no traces above where it says "D0" to "D24" on the top of the board. However, it will be difficult to trim the board-- you'll need access to a hydraulic shear (common in machine shops) to cut it. Windell H.
