A question: where do you take the time (and money) from?

Thanks so much! You've made some very good points. Documenting the resources used is definitely a good idea. The problem is that we do this in our spare time and we shop at (really good) junk stores. That makes it hard to calculate how much time and money we spend. And how do we calculate how much that junk we got out of the dumpster is worth? Being inveterate collectors, much of the stuff we put together has been hanging around for years before being put to use. That said, we will try to do a better job of including cost and time in future stories. It sure is easier with the small projects with simple build pictures and clear component costs!

Construction videos are tough to plan for (we have lighting issues late at night when we're doing our best work) but we're working on more video tools here at the lab, so we'll see what we can do to keep the cameras running more. And we'll keep throwing photos at you as much as possible.
