Hello everyone,

Just got finished assembling my peggy board, and I have to say it's very impressive, and a lot of fun to put together. I finished a bulbdial kit last weekend, and have found that they are some of the easiest yet most satisfying kits I've done.

I am just wondering about the possibility of using a seeedstudio UartSB V2.2 to program the display via the USB TTL headers. I've been digging through the specs for both the adafruit cable you recommend and the UartSB I own. Both run 3.3v, but the UartSB has a pinout marked DTR, whereas the cable has CTS and RTS pins. Otherwise the pinouts are the same. The FDTI chips are identical in both and I was hopeful I can make the USB-TTL solution I have work for programming the peggy 2.0.

Anyone have any advice about this?

The UartSB does not appear to be plug-in compatible with the USB-TTL cable, for reasons of pin order. However, you should easily be able to build an adapter cable that will rearrange the wires to the right order. The Adafruit FTDIfriend is based on the same chip, and has the right pinout, so use that as a guide.
