When is the Ostrich egg and the engraver coming out for the egg-bot ? Does anyone know?

Our plan is to have them out this spring, so sometime between now and early June.

(aside from a big egg that you can get broken bones from as you try and steal them)

A larger Eggbot in which you can place larger objects such as Ostrich eggs.

P.S. And I reckon that there's more work than just scaling up everything and churning out larger parts. That's probably the easy part. There's then testing everything out, identifying larger egg cups that work at least as well as the smaller ones; testing to see if you need a slightly stronger servo for the larger pen arm and possibly heavier pens folks may use; etc., etc.

Correct on all counts. One other factor is evaluating materials for the frame. This is a specialty item that we'll be fabbing in lower volume, but still want to be able to make reliable and affordable.

Will this be a "patch" as in alternate parts to swap in the egg-bot kit, or a different version (e.g. complete kit)?
I'm interested in trying to adapt for wineglasses, and this seems like a nice starting point.

I was thinking of buying the original kit, and making extended panels (at ponoko) but I'd be happy to give you my money instead.
