Hi,
I'm about a week in on my eggboting. Making lots of progress and learning a ton despite the limited hours I can put in right now but ...
I'm stumped.
I'm trying to copy some elements (bunnys) which are paths in one eggbot template to another svg document that already contains other elements (either my designs or other templates.
It appears the bunnys, themselves made up of multilple paths will only paste in as a single bitmap image.
I've tried every tool or way of copy and pasting that I could imagine in Inkscape without luck.
Is this the nature of things or am I missing something. And thanks for those of you that help the learning process with faq, wikis and your shared designs.
Thanks for your help.

Oops found an answer in a semi related post.
Seems X11 in Snow Leopard (OSX 10.6) has a preference pane where you can modify how the clipboard works so that vector and non vector worlds integrate "better".
Thanks to the following post I have something I can try tonight to resolve the problem

Ok, found the bug:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/inkscape/+bug/307005
It's in X on SnowLeopard and there's a workaround: you have to turn off "Update Pasteboard when Clipboard Changes" in the X11 preferences:
http://emberapp.com/finsprings/images/x11-preferences
That may have been documented here somewhere already but I am not good at reading instructions so I may have missed it.

Yes, that's right. See also the Eggbot documentation!
