We've used our eggbot a couple of times and it has worked perfectly. Today, there seems to be no power to motor 1. We have downloaded the latest version of Inkscape, and have tried turning on and off both motors. Motor 2 turns on and off when we enable motor 2, but has no effect on motor 1. We have removed the wires and replaced them, and all contacts seem fine. Any suggestions?

Well, that's no good.

The first thing to try would be to disconnect both motors, and swap their wiring-- wire motor 1 into motor 2's control and vice versa. That should identify if the motor or controller is at fault, or perhaps, if it's still a wiring problem, it will point that out.

Please let me know what you find.
