I'm having problems opening the circuit board design file, I've tried several apps (unfortunately can't open it with gEDA because I'm running Windows)

I'd like to have the gerber files if available.

Hmmm. As the Wikipedia entry says, "Microsoft Windows support is currently not a primary project goal."

But, there are good ways to install it. Please take a look at our wiki page on gEDA, with links to Windows installers.
