The Meggy Jr RGB kit comes with an ATmega328P microcontroller, pre-flashed with the old-style (pre-uno) bootloader. This is the correct bootloader to use if you are going to reprogram the Meggy through (for example) an FTDI USB-TTL cable. Windell H. >did I miss this fact or are the documents regarding the assembly of the meggy jr not updated? Another question would be the compatibility to the new 1.0 IDE,or should I use the older version .23? I have not tested 1.0 yet, but I do not expect any problems. If you do come across any, please let me know and I'll investigate. Windell H.
