I am using a Windows XP notebook computer. I tried to run USBDriverInstaller.exe and got the error that suggested that I needed .net. I installed the .net software from microsoft. I now get the error "Unable to find a version of the runtime to run this application." I have no idea of what to do.

I believe that the problem is that you may have an older version of the ".net framework" on your computer. Please download and install a newer version of from Microsoft, at this location:
http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?displaylang=en&id=17718
After that, please try running the UBW Driver Installer again, and let me know how it goes. (If you can confirm that this fixes the issue, I'd appreciate it, as we potentially would like to add it to our standard troubleshooting information.)

Thanks for the reply. In fact, I did not have ".net framework" installed on my XP box prior to installing the latest upgrade. This led to a completely dysfunctional ".net framework". I installed the original ".net framework" on the computer and then installed the upgrade. The good news is that your software then worked the bad news was that my wireless internet adapter did not work under ".net framework." My fix was to uninstall everything, downloaded Ubuntu linux, and downloaded the control software under linux. Everything works!
