Hi,
I've carefully read through your (very detailed and very clear) discussion of brightness. Thanks for that excellent post. I'm thinking of shorting my trimpots, because for my project it will be best not to have dimmable lights. I'm installing UV LEDs to cure resin to make a low-res peggy-printer.
I'm not sure how to short the trimpots. There are three holes from left to right, A, B, and C (A is nearest to the little printed white circle). Should the wire span from A to C? Or, from B to C? Or something else...
The diagram on the trimpot makes it seem like A to C. However when I look carefully at the printed board, it almost seems as though position A is unused (no raised lines lead to it).
I apologize for my severe lack of electronics knowledge. I hope I've framed the question clearly enough. Thanks for your help Windell. Although we've been in email contact, I thought I'd post the question in the forum in case anyone else has this question.
Also, do you know a good place to buy a few (10-ish) resistors? On digi-key I have to order 5,000 minimum.
