been poking around some forums but can't find the answer to what i think is a simple thing.
i have a strip of 5 12volt led lights hooked up to my computer power supply. i am trying to figure out the best way to get them to flicker like led flicker candles. i thought i could just wire a flicker bulb in the circuit, but i'm not sure. i cant really even find 12volt flicker bulbs anywhere.
maybe the option is getting my hands on a flicker circuit board instead???
any guidance would be great.
thanks

There isn't a true "standard" 12 V LED-- all that it means is that it runs from 12 V, it does not say what the internal construction is. So, you *may* be able to wire in a candle-flicker LED, but then again, maybe not-- it depends entirely on what you're dealing with.

hmm. i took it apart and it is just 5 leds connected together by a plain circuit board. didn't see any resistors or anything else. doesn't look like anything more than that, but i am not very experienced with electrical components.
