I see that in the Wiki the recommended image size is:
800 pixels tall by 3200 pixels wide
I also read that the older version used a little bit bigger sized image, at 1000 pixels tall.
I'm drawing on 2-3/4" wooden spheres, and find that the image isn't big enough to fully cover the sphere. There's a 4.3mm diameter blank space on one end and a little bit larger on the other.
I'd like to cover more of the sphere... what are the max extents that the egg-bot can draw in terms of pixels? is it 1000?
I had one drawing session go hay wire where the pen arm tried to go beyond it's 800px drawing (photo attached), and hit the egg-bot frame. So I know it's possible for the machine to go beyond the 800px. Does anyone have this number?

There's a section of the wiki that covers this:
http://wiki.evilmadscience.com/Framing_and_Pen_Centering#Framing
I'll quote from there: "The actual top and bottom plotting limits -- the limits beyond which the pen arm cannot reach -- will vary with a number of factors including the shape and size of your egg, as well as its mounted position in the Eggbot frame."
That part is followed by the procedure for determining what your framing should be for a given object.
