I am trying to create synthetic diamonds as a personal expirament. However, I have ran into a stumbling block. I need a microwave "chamber" that I can inject hydrogen and methane into and heat them into a plasma at around 1700 degrees. Any ideas?

Repurpose a regular microwave, maybe? (Sounds nice and dangerous!)
