 Peggy2 without PC/MAC?

I am thinking about Peggy2 as a semipermanent visual installation, if possible with video. I have programmed a bit in Processing and know I can program the Arduino board (learned with Meggy Jr.) with (rather basic) animations. Can Arduino read an USB stick or be programmed with short video clips?
